Speed ranges
Speed ranges let you mark sections of a recipe video to play at a faster speed. This is useful for long prep shots, waiting periods, or other parts you want to skip through quickly.
Setting a Speed Range
- Pause the video at the start of the section you want to speed up
- Click Mark to set the start point
- Seek forward to the end of the section
- Click Mark again to set the end point
The marked section will now play at an accelerated speed whenever you watch the video.
Adjusting Playback Speed
- The default speed for marked ranges is 4x
- While the playhead is inside a range, click the Rate button to cycle through speeds: 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x
- Choose the speed that feels right for each section
Persistence
- Speed ranges are saved automatically and persist across sessions
- They are included in recipe exports, so anyone you share the recipe with gets your speed range settings
